Do More Village Booth Information
The YPC Do More Village
Is your organization one that encourages young professionals to "Do More" in the Greater Des Moines community? Whether you bring people together through volunteerism, civic engagement, or cultural activities, the Young Professionals Connection (YPC) invites you to join us for a unique opportunity.
The second annual summer music festival organized by the Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) will be taking place on July 3 and 4, 2009. Last year's 80/35 music festival drew an estimated 30,000 people. The 2009 80/35 will again feature more than 40 acts over the two-day celebration and is expected to once again bring thousands of people together in downtown Des Moines. This provides a great opportunity for organizations like yours to encourage others to get involved within their community. We are looking for mainly non-profit or not-for-profit organizations.
At the music festival, the Do More Village, presented by YPC, will serve as the hub for promoting all things Des Moines. This free showcase area will draw in event attendees through its interactive exhibits and unique demonstrations, all provided by local groups and supported by local talent. We invite your organization to apply for a spot in the YPC Do More Village, so you can join us in spreading the word about our great city and all the unique opportunities it holds.
