| Job / Employer Description: | I serve as the Events Coordinator for Governor Chet Culver. I coordinate many of the large-scale state wide events such as bill signings and press events. During the legislative session, I travel around the state to advance the Governor at various events. I also serve as a surrogate for the Governor, Lt. Governor and First Lady. Currently I am working on the Lt. Governor's Iowa Artists events to raise more awareness of the arts in Iowa. |
| Activities / Involvement in the Community: | Since January 2008, I've served as the VP of Charitable for YPC. I am also Events Chair for the Des Moines Art Center's Art Noir as well as Director-at-Large for Junior League. I greatly enjoy volunteering my time for women's organizations, charitable causes and art/community related projects. |
| Favorite Things to Do in Des Moines: | I have greatly enjoyed this summer in Des Moines. Living downtown, I can experience Farmer's Market, dinner in the East Village and various summer events such as the Art Festival and 80/35. |
